Designing and building an inn from scratch gave us the opportunity to do everything the way we felt the discriminating bed and breakfast traveler would appreciate. In this spacious rose colored 15,000 square foot County Victorian style home, we created guest rooms that are the ultimate in privacy and relaxation, all named after apples that hint at the decor therein. But we also designed common areas that allow for the friendly mingling so many B&B guests appreciate.

Our attention to detail is evident throughout. We have 19 guest rooms, (2 are 2-bedroom/2 bath), all with an assortment of bedding choices, with down bedding, gas fireplaces, televisions, dvd players, wingback recliners, and private baths where you will find apple scented shampoo, of course. Four turret rooms have a two person JACUZZI® whirlpool tub. The rooms are large and comfortable, ideal for curling up on those special retreats with someone you care about. In the gathering room in the main house is a wood burning fireplace, baby grand piano, game table, and a library of books, games, puzzles, and movies. Guests gather here for early morning coffee, sparkling apple cider and appetizers in the afternoon, and a delicious homemade dessert and coffee in the evenings. Ice, soft drinks, hot teas, hot cider, candy Kisses and Green Apple Tootsies, are available at the snack bar all day.

Breakfast is served in our dining room every morning from 9:00 to 10:00. This country gourmet feast always includes a fruit course such as Chilled Strawberry Pineapple Soup, Cranberry Applesauce, or fresh in season fruit. Our cereal course could be our Muesli -just delicious, or our homemade granola as a topping on some delectable creation. Enjoy a bread course such as mixed fruit white chocolate scone, fresh baked biscuit, breakfast apple tart tatin, or apple dumplings, just to name a few, and all homemade, of course. An egg dish such as Santa Fe Style Baked Eggs, Garden Vegetable Quiche, Herb and Cheese Scrambled Eggs, Cheese Strata, or Breakfast Souffles, is served every day along with a meat course such as glazed turkey breakfast sausage, candied bacon, or maple glazed turkey ham. Fresh muffins round out your breakfast plate such as Pineapple Raisin Bran, Chocolate Pumpkin, or Cinnamon Streusel.

Our breakfast is an excellent way to start a day that could include any number of activities available here in Big Bear Lake. Be warned though - you may not be hungry for lunch.

For those that are having trouble leaving the computer at home, free wireless broadband internet is available throughout the property.

We are sorry, but we do not accept pets. Our rooms are stocked with down blankets and down pillows, so if you are allergic to down, please let us know before your arrival.
